Warm Weather Expected for Thanksgiving, Black Friday

You won't have to bundle up too tightly if you're planning to head out on Thanksgiving or Black Friday, Storm Team 4 says.

Warmer conditions that moved into the region on Wednesday are expected to stick around through the start of the holiday weekend before taking another dive later in the weekend.

After a near-perfect travel day on Wednesday with clear skies and dry roads, clouds will move in on Thanksgiving. Storm Team 4 says that dry conditions are expected, however, with highs climbing near 60 degrees.

There should be a slight chill in the air when the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade steps off in Manhattan Thursday morning. But it'll warm up as they day progresses, hitting the 50s by the time the parade is over.

Black Friday shoppers should have pleasant weather, too. Clouds will continue to stick around, but temperatures could climb above the 60-degree mark.

Then, on Saturday, cooler weather will move in along with a few showers. Sunday looks to be chilly, with the mercury struggling to climb above 50.
