    Man Lures Boy to Greenwich Village Parking Garage, Attempts to Sexually Assault Him: Police

    Police are searching for a man who they say lured a teenage boy to a parking garage in Greenwich Village, then attempted to sexually assault him.

    The man lured the 17-year-old boy to the lower level of the Hilary Gardens Garage at 741 Broadway at about 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, then tried to sexually assault him, according to police.

    The victim managed to run away, and the suspect fled. The boy wasn't hurt, police said.

    The suspect is about 20 years old and 5 feet 6 inches. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 800-577-TIPS.
