Police have arrested a 19-year-old suspect in connection with a shooting earlier this year in Harlem.
Malcolm Smith was charged with attempted murder in the March 16 shooting, the NYPD said.
Police said Smith shot a 51-year-old man multiple times in the legs and a 76-year-old woman in the neck at 140th Street and Lennox Avenue.
The woman was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition and the man was taken to the hospital in critical, but stable, condition.
Smith also faces charges for felony assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment. It wasn’t known if he had an attorney.
