The "suspicious items" reported near Wall Street Thursday morning were determined to be two motorcycle batteries, authorities said.
Streets were cordoned off and people were asked to stay clear of the area after the items were found near a phone booth at Water and Pine streets at about 11:15 a.m.
An all clear by the NYPD bomb squad was given at about 12:30 p.m.
