Suspects Sought in Fatal Shooting of Bronx Teen on Christmas Eve

Police on Saturday released a surveillance photo of two suspects in the shooting death of a 16-year-old boy on Christmas Eve in the Bronx.

In addition to the fatal shooting Justin Morris, of West 182nd Street, the suspects are wanted in connection with the wounding of a 19-year-old man, who was shot twice in the back.

Police said two groups of males were involved in an argument near 183rd Street and Jerome Avenue shortly before 11 p.m. Friday when shots were fired. Both groups fled the scene.

Police found Morris with multiple gunshot wounds to his back. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 19-year-old victim was taken hospitalized and was expected to survive the shooting.
