A robbery suspect in Brooklyn was recognized by one of his victims months later while he was ordering food at Chipotle, police say.

The victim was working Sunday behind the counter at the restaurant at the King’s Plaza Shopping Center in Mill Basin when the suspect apparently ordered food from her, according to officials.

Back in the early-morning hours of May 18, a trio of people forced their way through a fire escape window and into a Crown Heights apartment where three woman lived. The suspects then whipped out a gun, tied the women up and covered them with a blanket, the NYPD said Thursday night.

The trio demanded the women hand over money and then booked it out of the apartment, getting away with about $1,500, police said.

Now, the women have a face behind one of the armed robbers, according to police. When the Chipotle worker recognized the man, she confronted him. The man then became suspicious and took off, but a surveillance camera was able to get a picture of him, who police said is about 30 years old.

Anyone with information about the man should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
