Authorities are looking for a suspect who threw a man down a staircase before robbing him in the Bronx.
According to police, the 47-year-old victim was walking up a staircase in his building on Davidson Avenue and Fordham Road in University Heights on July 20 when a man approached from behind and threw him down the stairs.
The suspect stole the man's cellphone and wallet, which contained credit cards and $250 cash.
The victim was treated at a nearby hospital and released.
Police have released surveillance images of the attack (see above) and are asking anyone with any information to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
