A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with a sex attack on a 4-year-old girl in her Queens home, and investigators believe he may have used a ladder to crawl into her second-floor bedroom, authorities say.
The boy, a stranger to the child, faces charges of attempted rape, aggravated sex abuse and burglary in the attack on the child early Sunday in Rosedale.
Officials at one point thought the suspect may have used a ladder to climb up the side of the home; they say he may have crawled in the second-floor window.
Police say witnesses identified the boy as a suspect in the attack; he was arrested at his home. The investigation is ongoing.
