The MTA restored or extended subway service for several more lines Sunday as crews have continued working around the clock to pump water out of flooded stations and tunnels throughout the city.
But officials said restored train lines will run less frequently than normal Monday and are warning straphangers to expect delays.
"We are concerned that if we over tax the system it could come down," said MTA Chairman Joseph Lhota. "It's a recovery stage. This is uncharted territory."
Meanwhile, emergency measures implemented by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission allowing passengers to share taxis or to hail livery cabs on the street end after 11:59 p.m.
Govs. Cuomo and Christie have announced the Holland Tunnel will reopen to all commuter traffic Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 5 a.m.
The Queens Midtown Tunnel was reopened for buses heading into Manhattan earlier Tuesday.

SUBWAYS:
- 1 trains will operate local between 242nd Street (Bronx) and Chambers Street in both directions.
- 2 trains will operate between 241st Street (Bronx) and Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn.
- 3 trains will operate from 148th Street to 42nd Street-Times Square.
- 4 trains will operate between Woodlawn and Crown Heights-Utica Avenue.
- 5 trains will operate between Eastchester/Dyre Ave and Flatbush.
- 6 trains will operate between Pelham Bay and Brooklyn Bridge.
- 7 train will operate full local service between Main St – Flushing and 42nd St – Times Square.
- 42nd Street Shuttle S trains will operate between Times Square and Grand Central.
- A trains will be restored to 207th Street in Manhattan for Tuesday morning's rush. There is no A service to and from Aqueduct and the Rockaways.
- C service will resume from 168tth Street to Euclid Avenue for Tuesday morning's rush.
- E service has resumed between Jamaica Center and World Trade Center.
- B trains will run between Bedford Park Boulevard in the Bronx and Kings Highway in Brooklyn beginning Tuesday morning.
- D trains are running between 205th Street (Bronx) and Bay Parkway, making local stops between 125th Street and 59th Street.
- F trains operate between 179th St and Avenue X.
- G trains are suspended.
- J trains operate between Jamaica Center and Essex Street making all local stops.
- L trains operate between Broadway Junction and Rockaway Parkway making all local stops.
- M trains are now running local between 71st Avenue and Metropolitan Ave.
- N trains operate between Ditmars Blvd. and 59th Street in Brooklyn.
- Q trains will operate between 57th Street-Seventh Avenue in Manhattan and Brighton Beach in Brooklyn beginning Tuesday morning.
- R trains operate in two sections, between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and 34th Street-Herald Square, and between Jay Street-Metro Tech and Bay Ride-95 Street.
- The Franklin Avenue Shuttle is operating with limited service.
- The Rockaway Park Shuttle is suspended.
SHUTTLE BUSES:
- Between Jay Street-MetroTech and 57th Street-Lexington Avenue via the Manhattan Bridge.
- Between Hewes Street and Delancy/Essex Street via the Williamsburg Bridge.
MTA BUSES:
- Local, Limited-Stop and Express Bus service are operating as close to a normal weekday schedule as possible.
- Access-A-Ride began limited service Wednesday and is accepting reservations for travel after noon Thursday.
- The Queens Midtown Tunnel will open one lane for buses only during rush hour Tuesday. One lane of the south tube of the Queens Midtown Tunnel will open for buses only heading into Manhattan from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., and for buses leaving Manhattan from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The tunnel will be closed to traffic at all other times.
PATH:
- Some PATH train service will be restored starting Tuesday morning: PATH trains will run daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Journal Square to the 33rd Street stop in Manhattan. The trains will not be stopping at the Christopher Street or 9th Street station stops in Manhattan.
NJ TRANSIT
- North Jersey Coast Line service has been suspended because of overcrowding. Riders are being told to go to Metropark for bus shuttle service.
- Northeast Corridor: Remains in service between Trenton Transit Center and New York Penn Station, with the exception of service to Jersey Avenue. Service continues to operate on a special schedule.
- Main/Port Jervis Line service resumed operating on a special schedule. The Main Line will operate from Suffern to Secaucus making all local stops.
- The Port Jervis Line will operate from Port Jervis to Secaucus making all local stops via Main Line. Service between Secaucus and Hoboken remains suspended until further notice.
- Raritan Valley Line service resumed between Raritan and Newark Penn Station only, operating on weekend schedule. On Monday, service resumes between Raritan and Newark Penn Station only, operating on special schedule. Rail service between High Bridge and Raritan remains suspended.
- Atlantic City Line has resumed normal service.
- Morris & Essex and Montclair-Boonton service remains suspended.
LONG ISLAND RAIL ROAD:
- Limited hourly service has been restored on the Huntington, Babylon, Ronkonkoma, and Port Washington branches. Check www.mta.info for the latest.
- Montauk Branch: Modified schedule from Speonk
- Hempstead Branch: Modified schedule
- Long Beach: Suspended
- Far Rockaway: Modified schedule
- Oyster Bay Branch: Modified schedule
- West Hempstead: Modified schedule
METRO-NORTH:
- Hudson Line: Full service Grand Central to Croton-Harmon.
- Harlem Line: Full service from Grand Central to Southeast.
- New Haven Line: Full service to New Haven.
- Wassaic Branch at the north end of the Harlem line: Full service resumes Monday.
- Upper Hudson from Croton-Harmon to Poughkeepsie: Full service from Croton-Harmon to Poughkeepsie.
- New Canaan Branch: Suspended, with bus service as a replacement. Buses leave stations 20 minutes before the scheduled train time.
- Danbury Branch: Full Service
