Rude Subway Ranter Booted off Train, Has Soup Chucked on Him

A group of New York City subway passengers got so tired of a belligerent man shouting racial epithets at them that they eventually booted him off the train, with one woman tossing soup when he tried to re-board.

Witness Joshua Pyne was on the train when the unidentified man, who Pyne says claimed to be a lawyer and NYU grad, started jumping up and down and repeatedly yelling racial slurs. Pyne captured video that shows the slur-hurler drinking alcohol and arguing the First Amendment lets him say what he wants.

Eventually, a group of passengers surround the man and shove him out of the train when the doors open, Pyne's video shows. A woman splashes a thick soup on the man as he attempts to force his way back onto the train.

Pyne says that while he doesn't condone violence, he's "not gonna lose sleep over what happened to this guy."
