Subway service in Brooklyn has returned to normal after mechanical problems at the Atlantic Avenue Station caused major delays during the Wednesday morning commute.
Customers on the 2, 3, 4 and 5 lines experienced extensive delays during rush hour, but the problems had eased by 10:15 a.m.
Riders on the A and C lines in Upper Manhattan also experienced service disruptions due to a police investigation at 175th Street Station, but service on those lines resumed by about 8:30 a.m.
