Suspects Flash Gun, Steal iPhone 6 From Subway Rider's Pocket Near Columbus Circle

Police are looking for two suspects who showed a subway rider a gun, reached into his pocket and stole his iPhone 6 on a southbound A train as it approached Columbus Circle.

Authorities say the 26-year-old victim was on the train around 12:30 p.m. Friday when one of the suspects asked to use his cellphone. The victim said no, and the suspect lifted his sweater and showed the butt of a gun, police said.

The other suspect then reached into the victim's pocket and took his phone. Both suspects fled the train at the Columbus Circle stop.

No injuries were reported.
