Extra police are on hand at two schools in Paterson after police say a 17-year-old stabbed two girls in an after-school dispute.
Police say the 17-year-old Kennedy High School student tangled with three 14-year-olds who attend Don Bosco Tech Academy on Union Avenue Wednesday.
Police tell The Record newspaper two of the younger girls sustained non-life-threatening wounds and were treated and released from a hospital. The third was not cut.
The 17-year-old is charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses. Her name was not released because she is a juvenile.
Extra security and police were stationed at the schools on Thursday.
