A Staten Island woman was critically injured in a stabbing and her husband jumped to his death from the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, police say.
The 51-year-old woman was found in her home Sunday with two stab wounds, police say.
The body of her 47-year-old husband was retrieved from the water by the Coast Guard, police say. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Officers had responded to the couple's home in 2007 after getting a call about a domestic dispute, police say.
The couple's names were not immediately released.
