Stanley Cup Makes Appearance on Jersey Shore

LA Kings assistant coach John Stevens lives in Sea Isle City in the summer

The Stanley Cup is spending some time at the Jersey shore.

Los Angeles Kings assistant coach John Stevens spent his day with the trophy in Sea Isle City. Thousands of fans lined the beach to catch a glimpse of the trophy that the Kings won last month.

Stevens is the former coach of the Philadelphia Flyers and lives in Sea Isle City in the summer.

The Cup rested in a Sea Isle lifeguard boat as fans lined up for photos. Stevens brought the trophy to his hometown in Canada when he last won it with the Kings in 2012.

Justin Williams, also a former Flyer, will bring the Cup to Caesars Atlantic City Friday.
