Gunman on Skateboard Kills Man on Harlem Sidewalk: NYPD

  • A 21-year-old man was shot in Harlem just before 2 p.m. on Friday.
  • A man on a skateboard shot the victim twice, once in point blank range.
  • Another man had an epileptic seizure at the same time of the shooting three doors down.

A man was shot and killed by a man on a skateboard in Harlem Friday afternoon, police say. 

The 21-year-old victim was shot just before 2 p.m. on West 141st Street, police said. 

Police sources say surveillance video shows the skateboarder following the victim, then shooting him before running away.

Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital, where he died, police said. 

West 141st Street was shut down as police conducted an investigation.
