Wind Topples Brick Wall, Injuring 2 Brooklyn Kids

A parapet wall alongside a store and an aluminum sign toppled on top of the children in Bedford-Stuyvesant

Two children were hurt when a gust of wind knocked over a section of a brick wall in Brooklyn.

The Daily News reports the children, 9 and 12, had just left Sunday school when a parapet wall alongside a store and an aluminum sign toppled on top of them at Bedford Avenue and Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Officials say the children were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
