Man Fatally Shot in Face, Another Wounded in Brooklyn: Sources

Police are searching for three suspects in a shooting that killed one man and wounded another in Brooklyn Monday evening, police sources say.

The shooting happened on East 56th Street in East Flatbush at about 6:30 p.m. after a fight broke out between the victims and a third man, sources said.

One of the victims, 33-year-old Gary Walker, was shot in the face and died at Brookdale Hospital, according to the sources.

The other victim, a 31-year-old man, was shot in the back and was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.

Officers responded quickly after ShotSpotter technology alerted police to the gunfire nearly instantly. They found two parked cars that were left running at the scene.

Walker's father arrived at the shooting scene Monday night searching for answers.

"All I know is my son got shot," he said
