A woman was sexually assaulted at gunpoint inside a Midtown hotel room in the early morning hours Tuesday, and police are now searching for three suspects. 

The 27-year-old transgendered woman met a man inside a Holiday Inn room after advertising prostitution services, according to law enforcement sources. The two got into an argument and the man was asked to leave.

The man returned to the room moments later with at least two other men, who sexually assaulted the woman, the sources said. One of the men showed a gun and threatened to shoot her if she did not stop screaming. 

The suspects then ran away. 

One of the suspects is described as about 5 feet 9 inches, and bald with a Chinese character tattooed on his chest. The other two suspects were about 18 to 28 years old.
