Parents Warned of Middle School Students Sharing Nude Photos

After several New Jersey middle school students were found with naked photos of classmates on their phones, parents were warned that any other kids with explicit images would be turned over to police.

The superintendent of Bernards Township schools wrote in a letter to parents last week that some students were found to be sharing naked photos.

Students at William Annin Middle School were given until the end of the day Sunday to delete any more images they may have had, without the threat of criminal charges.

By Monday, the letter said, "any students involved in the behaviors described above will be subject to the application of the law."

The letter pleaded with parents to talk to their kids about explicit photos.

It was not clear whether the children initially found with photos were facing disciplinary measures or criminal charges.
