Seton Hall on Alert After Students Robbed at Gunpoint

Students and faculty at Seton Hall University in New Jersey are on alert after three students were assaulted and robbed at gunpoint near the school.

Officials said the students were approached by three men who exited a parked dark-colored minivan near Prospect Street and Irvington Avenue in South Orange early Sunday morning and then took their wallets and cell phones. One student was struck in the head with a handgun and needed medical treatment.

South Orange Police are investigating the robbery.
