Long Island Rail Road, New Jersey Transit and Metro-North are trying to stop naughtiness this weekend by saying no to booze for 24 hours this weekend for SantaCon, the transit agencies announced Wednesday.

The alcohol-free ban goes into effect at noon on Saturday and will remain in effect until noon Sunday.

The policy will be strictly enforced. MTA police officers will be on duty at Penn Station, Grand Central Terminal and other stations, as well as on trains to enforce the restriction.

Violators may be removed from the train or station as well as face fines or even be arrested.

NJT also said the ban will also be in effect on all of its light rail vehicles and buses.

SantaCon takes place Saturday. The starting point for the annual pub crawl won't be announced until Friday.
