Police have apprehended a suspect after a student was stabbed inside a library on the Rutgers University Newark campus.
The school says the undergraduate was assaulted by an assailant who brandished a sharp object inside Dana Library at 10:20 Thursday morning.
The school says the female student was alert and taken to a hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Her name has not been released.
The suspect is not a student. The suspect's name has not been released.
