Drivers should expect heavy delays on parts of Route 3 eastbound in New Jersey for the evening rush after two accidents there.
East Rutherford police say there were two accidents on Route 3 eastbound approaching the New Jersey Turnpike Monday afternoon. Lanes were expected to reopen by 4 p.m., but drivers should expect residual delays. Ongoing construction on the route may also worsen delays.
Police said one person was hurt in the accidents. It's not clear how seriously the person was injured.
