A man died after suffering some sort of medical event following a fight at a bar on Long Island late on Sunday, authorities say.
Michael Murphy, 42, was pronounced dead after the fight at the Rocky Point Ale House on Broadway near Prince Road in Rocky Point, according to the Suffolk County Police.
Police responded, and Murphy was taken to to John T. Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson, where he was pronounced dead.
Several people, including an off-duty police officer, were questioned about the series of events that led to Murphy's death, but no arrests have been made.
Police say they are continuing to investigate.
