NYPD officers are searching for a man who's allegedly responsible for at least 13 violent robberies where he and an accomplice pull a gun on unsuspecting New Yorkers − and it was all in one month.
Police say 31-year-old Brandon McDonald and another unidentified man have been victimizing people all across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens and they've gotten away with cash, cell phones and other belongings worth more than $60,000.
The first two incidents were reported on Aug. 1 on Buffalo Avenue in Brooklyn and hours later, nearly 20 miles away on Convent Avenue in Manhattan, two more victims reported that two men approached them, pulled out a firearm and demanded their property.
The suspects were often seen fleeing in a burgundy or red Mustang sedan or on foot, according to police.
On Aug. 2, McDonald and his accomplice allegedly robbed three more victims, two in downtown Manhattan and another in Midtown. The spree continued on Aug. 6, 9, 15 and 17, police said.
No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
