Man Denied Money Punches 65-Year-Old in Subway Station: NYPD

Police are looking for a suspect they say knocked a 65-year-old man to the ground and threw an unknown liquid at him in a subway station in the Bronx last week.

Police say the suspect demanded cash from the rider in the mezzanine of the D train station at 205th Street in Norwood on July 14. When the victim said he didn't have any money, the suspect punched the victim in the back of the head and threw him to the ground.

Then, police say, the suspect tossed the liquid on the 65-year-old victim and left.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
