A dog was snatched at gunpoint while the owner's father was walking him in Newark over the weekend, police say.
Melanie Costa says her father was walking her 3-year-old teacup Yorkie named Munchkin Friday night when three men approached him with a gun and demanded money.
When he told them he didn't have any money, the suspects robbed him of the dog and fled, she said.
Newark police says they're investigating. Costa is asking anyone with information to contact police.
