Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect who they say robbed a cab driver of his phone and cash and then took off with the victim's taxi.
Investigators released a surveillance photo of the suspect taken inside the taxi.
The suspect flagged down a green cab Thursday evening in the vicinity of Arnow and Gunther avenues in the Baychester neighborhood of the Bronx. The suspect then flashed a knife and demanded the 44-year-old cabbies' cash and iPhone, police said.
The cabbie complied and was then told to get out of the vehicle. The suspect then drove off with the cab.
