Armed Robber Exposes Himself to Woman, 3-Year-Old Girl Inside Brooklyn Elevator

He got away with $22 in cash, police say

An armed robber followed a woman and her 3-year-old daughter into an elevator in Brooklyn, exposed himself to them and took off with $22 in cash, police said. 

Authorities are searching for the suspect, who followed the 24-year-old mother and her child inside the building near Wortman and Van Siclen avenues in East New York at about 8:30 a.m. last Thursday, Sept. 25, according to police. 

The man showed a gun, demanded money and took the cash from the mother's pocket, police said. He then exposed himself to both mother and daughter, pressed himself against the mother and then ran away. 

No one was hurt, police said.

The suspect is described as being about 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches, with a thin build.
