Reward for Information in Seton Hall Shooting

New Jersey investigators are asking for the public's help in finding a man who opened fire at a party, killing a Seton Hall University student and wounding four other people.

East Orange police say no arrest had been made by late Sunday morning. The party was held late Friday night into Saturday morning at a home on South Clinton Street, about a mile from the Seton Hall campus.

The slain student was 19-year-old Jessica Moore of Disputanta, Va. Four other people, including two Seton Hall students, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police and witnesses say the suspect was kicked out of the party because he didn't want to pay the cover charge. They say he left but returned with a gun, walked into the party and started shooting. In the chaos, he got away.

A spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said that no one has been arrested but the investigations is rapidly moving forward.

An electronic sign near the shooting site advertises a $10,000 reward for information leading to the suspect's capture.
