Authorities say the internal organs of a small animal were found outside a McDonald's in Hartford, Connecticut, Thursday.
Police were initially called to the fast-food joint on Washington Street around 10 a.m. after getting a call about a possible human fetus on the property. The medical examiner determined the remains were an animal.
It's not clear how the remains got on the property, nor how the animal died.
