Police Hunt Suspect in Halloween Sexual Assault

New photos show the suspect who sexually assaulted a student when she was coming home from a Halloween party in Queens

Police have released new images taken from surveillance videos of a suspect who sexually assaulted a student when she was coming home from a Halloween party in Queens two weeks ago.

The suspect followed the 23-year-old woman off a bus, shoved her into some bushes and sexually assaulted her near 152nd Street and Melbourne Avenue, close to Queens College in Kew Gardens Hills.

The photos, above, show the suspect boarding the bus before the assault.

Following the assault the victim's roommate told NBC 4 New York that the victim started running when she noticed a man following her, but he caught up to her, covered her mouth and threw her to the ground.

Police say the man punched her and ripped her clothes.

The suspect ran off when a neighbor heard the woman screaming and told the suspect he had called the police.
