More than 800 customers lost power for hours in Queens after high winds and heavy rain brought down power lines Wednesday evening, Con Edison says.
Emergency workers repaired the lines in South Ozone Park, near Linden Boulevard and 130th Street.
No one was hurt, and power restored early Thursday. The power outages were some of the many across the region as heavy rains drenched the tri-state Wednesday night and Thursday.
