Police say a Queens man stabbed his wife to death and then stabbed himself in a suicide attempt.
 
Forty-one-year-old Josefa Sanchez was found with multiple stab wounds in her Ozone Park apartment early Friday. She was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.
 
The victim's 50-year-old husband, Adalberto Sanchez, was arrested in the apartment.
 
Police say the husband was in the next room with a knife in his hand and a stab wound to his own abdomen.
 
The couple's three children had fled the carnage.

Sanchez was arrested on charges of second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and child endangerment.
 
He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
