A man who allegedly posed as a 14-year-old girl and lured boys into sending him sexually explicit photos and videos of themselves was charged with multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a child, and police say there could be dozens of victims, reports say.
Kevin Rizo, of Queens, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Central Islip district court, according to amNY.com.
Seven boys — two from Nassau County — sent Rizo pornographic images and videos of themselves between October 2016 and April 2017, and he threatened to publicize them if they stopped, according to amNY.com.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Raymond Tierney said Rizo followed through with publicizing one of the boys, according to the reports.
Furthermore, Tierney said the ongoing investigation identified up to 50 more potential victims.
Rizo is being held without bail.
