A truck heading northbound on the Van Wyck Expressway in Queens early Saturday morning hit and killed a woman, officials say.
The victim, an unidentified pedestrian, was pronounced dead after being taken to Jamaica Hospital.
Police say the driver fled after hitting the woman.
