Man Shot to Death Inside Queens Grocery Store: Police

A man was shot to death inside a Queens grocery store on Thursday evening, according to the NYPD.

Officers are still looking for the gunman in the shooting at the Cinco de Mayo Food Market on Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights about 9 p.m., according to the NYPD.

Authorities said the 31-year-old victim was shot twice in the chest and died after being taken to Elmhurst Hospital.

No arrests have been made and the investigation into the deadly shooting continues. The shooter immediately took off after pulling the trigger, police said. 

It's not clear if the victim was targeted.
