Brazen Armed Robbers Hit 7 Bronx Bodegas in Two Months

Cops looking for men on robbery spree in the Bronx

Cops are looking for two heavily armed men who have robbed seven Bronx bodegas in the last two months.

Security video shows the men barging into a bodega on West Farms Road. One of the suspects was armed with a shotgun, the other with a pistol. Both men wore ski masks and demanded money.

In one incident, Bodega worker Luis Dame was knocked to the ground.

"They hit me on the head." he explained in Spanish.

Police say the men broke into another bodega on Anderson Avenue and stole $2,000 dollars.

Worker Charlie Urena was terrified.

"They were saying, 'Give me the money. I know you have more money,'" said Urena.

Though the men wield guns, they haven't used them and no one has been seriously hurt -- a fact for which Urena is especially grateful.

"We are alive. That's most important," he said.
