Police Seek Robbery Duo Armed with Stun Gun

In one robbery, they flashed a stun gun and a firearm, police say

Police are hunting for two men they say used a stun gun to rob victims in Manhattan and the Bronx.

Investigators on Friday released a surveillance camera image of the two suspects.

The duo is accused of stunning a 46-year-old man at about 1:30 a.m. on Monday and then punching him and stealing his cash, jewelry and car keys. The robbery occurred in the vicinity of Fort Washington Avenue and West 162 Street in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan, police said.

The victim declined medical attention, police said.

Later that morning, the two suspects approached a 28-year-old man in the Bronx and flashed a firearm and the stun gun, police said. They took the victim's property, which police didn't describe, and fled.

The robbery occurred in the vicinity of Bruckner Boulevard and Pugsley Avenue, investigators said. The victim wasn't physically harmed.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
