    Police are searching for an unidentified woman connected to a string of break-ins and a robbery who allegedly posed as being part of a cleaning service.

    The New York Police Department says the woman is wanted for questioning in a series of incidents that allegedly occurred in the 24th Precinct in the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

    According to authorities, on April 4, 2018, around 1:40 p.m. an unidentified woman allegedly entered a 75-year-old man’s apartment on Central Park West and West 97th Street through an unlocked door. When the man arrived home and confronted her, she claimed she was there as a cleaning service and fled on foot in an unknown direction, police say.

    Subsequently, the elderly man allegedly discovered that an undetermined amount of money was missing.

    Additionally, on June 10, 2018, shortly before 4:30 p.m., in the same vicinity of Central Park West and West 97th Street, the unidentified woman allegedly entered the apartment of a 32-year-old woman through an unlocked door. When confronted, the unidentified woman claimed once again that she was part of a cleaning service and fled, police say, adding that no property was removed.

    The unidentified woman as being between 28 to 35 years of age, about 5'4", 120 to 130 pounds, of slim build, with long dark hair and dark eyes.

    She was last seen wearing a white shirt, dark pants, and dark eyeglasses.
