Off-Duty NYPD Officer Riding Motorcycle Struck, Killed by Vehicle in Queens: NYPD

An off-duty police officer riding a motorcycle was struck and killed by a vehicle in Queens, police say.

The 28-year-old officer was hit at Linden Boulevard and 158th Street in Jamaica shortly after 5 p.m. He was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he died, police said. 

The driver of the vehicle stayed on the scene. 

The officer, whose identity has not been released, had been on the force for three years, according to the NYPD.
