Police say a father drunkenly crashed his pickup truck on Long Island with his infant and toddler in the truck.
The 42-year-old man was awaiting arraignment Sunday after the wreck around 8 p.m. Saturday in Huntington Station. The 1- and 2-year-old children weren't hurt. They're in their mother's care.
The Suffolk County Police Department says the man was driving west on the shoulder of Jericho Turnpike when he hit a minivan parked by a pizzeria.
He was arrested on charges including an aggravated DWI offense for driving drunk with a passenger under 16.
