A 16-year-old is accused in a knifepoint robbery on Long Island that scored him $2.
Police said the teen showed a knife to his victim on the corner of Radcliffe and Deal roads in Island Park and demanded money. The victim turned over the cash.
Investigators said they found a knife, medication and possible marijuana on the Long Beach teen when they arrested him a short time after the Saturday night robbery. He is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, robbery and possession of a dangerous weapon.
There was no phone listing for the teen at a home address released by police.
Details of his arraignment Sunday were not immediately available.
