A massive mural designed to look like the front of the Plaza Hotel and draped over its facade Tuesday gives passersby a sense of how the iconic Manhattan building will look once an exterior restoration is complete.
The 62,000-square-foot mural is the size of one-and-a-half football fields.
The hand-drawn architectural rendering was printed on fabric and attached to the construction scaffolding.
