Police are looking for a person who they slashed somebody on a busy Flatiron District street.
It wasn’t immediately clear why the suspect, who cops say is a man in his 50s, sliced a person around 3 p.m. Wednesday on 17th Street near Fifth Avenue.
The attacker quickly took off down 17th Street after the slashing, officials said. The NYPD is still looking for him.
Police didn’t release many additional details on the slashing Wednesday afternoon because they were still investigating. However, authorities said the victim suffered only minor injuries.
