Man Charged in Death of Bronx Woman Found With Puncture Wounds: NYPD

A 56-year-old man was arrested on murder charges after the Bronx woman with whom he lived was found unconscious with puncture wounds under her left armpit and on her shoulder blade Sunday.

Police found 57-year-old Cynthia Migliozzi unconscious at her home on Astor Avenue in Pelham Gardens at around noon. She was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

On Monday, police said they charged Martin Migliozzi with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. It’s not clear how or if the victim and suspect are related.

It’s not clear if Martin Migliozzi has an attorney.
