Three people, possibly a mother and two children, were taken to a hospital after being hit by a car on Staten Island Wednesday, authorities say.
Cops were called to the scene near Richmond Road and Lighthouse Avenue after getting a call about the accident around 8:30 a.m.
The condition of the victims wasn't known; the driver apparently stayed at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
