2 Pedestrians Struck in Brooklyn, 1 Fatally

No criminality suspected in the accident

Two pedestrians were struck by a car, one fatally, while crossing a Brooklyn intersection late Friday night, police say.

The accident happened at about 11:30 p.m. at Utica and Snyder avenues, where a Toyota Camry struck two men, according to police. The vehicle had stayed on the scene.

The victims were taken to Kings County Hospital, where the 63-year-old victim, identified as John Williams of Stamford, Conn., was pronounced dead.

The other victim, a 71-year-old, remains in stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Kingsbrook Jewish Hospital in stable condition.

Police say no criminality is suspected, but were continuing to investigation.
