A driver has been arrested in the hit-and-run death of a pedestrian crossing a New Jersey roadway, authorities say.
The victim was hit while crossing East Linden Avenue in Linden after midnight Friday, apparently in front of a strip club called Cheeques, according to Linden police.
Authorities say the man may have been inside the club and was walking back to his car when he was hit.
Linden police said they would be releasing more details later Friday.
